In a trail blazing effort, NAF has been in the forefront on watershed projects as a part of its Natural Resource Conservation program which is an important component in its comprehensive rural development initiatives. The watershed Program is strategized on a comprehensive integrated Community Development approach integrating areas such as soil and land management, water management, afforestation, pasture land development, agriculture development, livestock management, livelihood support and enhancement, community empowerment to target effective overall sustainable development in rural communities.

These projects are being implemented with the support of NABARD and Corporate sector on the following modes.
